Cruel Hand has released the surprise album of 2008. Following last year's Without A Pulse, the Maine natives focused on one important question - What Would Cliff Do? Taking the no-frills attack of their debut, Cruel Hand's new album Prying Eyes takes the foundation of Cro-Mags, Leeway and Madball, and the band runs it through blender with early Metallica and COC to end up with a relentless album that's got riffs, breakdowns, and ferocity that all hit the listener head-on. Call it metal hardcore or hardcore metal, Prying Eyes is a 12-song call to arms for a band that is just getting started.
